Helsinki 20.08.2009 - This year's Timanttikontakti- and Grand One marketing competition winner, Seed Digital Media, is expanding. At the same time, Seed's company leadership has been given to the new CEO Pasi Sillanpää (42).

Seed Digital Media is a recognized expert in direct digital marketing. Seed specializes in viral marketing and digital direct, and has carried out hundreds of projects in approximately 30 different countries. Seed's customers include Andiamo, Audi, Ellos, EMI Finland, Fujitsu-Siemens, Lufthansa, Radisson SAS, Ruokakesko, Sportia and Tjäreborg. Offices are located in Helsinki, Oslo and Penza in Russia. The company employs 17 people in total.

Seed's current MO is ready to be exported to additional countries. New offices are doing local sales and leading local projects. In the year 2010, Seed plans to open 1-2 new offices outside of Finland. Seed's activities in both Finland and Norway have also grown profitably this year.

Pasi Sillanpää, who started as the managing director in August has worked a long time in media and marketing. He has worked for companies such as Radio NRJ, OpenMobile Finland and Publicis-Törmä. He has wide experience in developing digital businesses, both in Finnish and international markets. In the last seven years he has worked in management consulting and customer relationship development consulting. Before joining Seed he was head of customer relationships in Talent Partners Oy. Seed's main shareholders Mikko Räty, Jesse Sandqvist and Eric Baumgardner are still continuing to work for Seed in operative duties.
